After working with hundreds of mums—through my coaching, NHS experience, and private practice—I’ve seen the same patterns of stress play out again and again.

The Frozen Overthinker (Freeze): You feel stuck in inaction, staring at your to-do list but unable to start. Everything feels too much, so instead of making progress, you shut down—only to feel guilty for “wasting time.”


The Over-Giver (Fawn): You say yes to everything, always putting others first while ignoring your own needs. You tell yourself you don’t have time for self-care, but deep down, you’re running on empty and longing for someone to take care of you for once.
